Serenity Memorial Garden

The Serenity Memorial Garden at Roscoe United Methodist Church, offers church members and the community a serene & peaceful location to pray, reflect, memorialize or lay their loved ones to rest.  This tranquil garden setting sits at the west area of RUMC on the corner of Reed Ln & Race St near the parking lot.  Paving bricks within the garden patio area are available for engraving and can be used as a memorial marker or other types of recognition.  Engraved brick sales generate funds to maintain the garden and make future improvements.  Click here to watch a short YouTube video about the design of the garden.


Surrounded by trees and beautiful landscaping,
this memorial garden will enhance our historical church and grounds for generations to come.


The garden is closed for the dispersal of ashes from October 31st to April 1st annually.

Engraved Memorial Bricks

Personalized Engraved Brick pavers in three sizes are available for the Serenity Memorial Garden patio area.  This space is a 25’ circle area that holds over 600 bricks for memorializing your loved ones or other sentiments. Some examples of this: “Love the Lord with all your Heart, Mind and Soul”, “911 Never Forget”,  “In Loving Memory”.
