Toddler (Age 2) – 3rd Grade
R-Kids classes are one hour long and designed to help children grow in their faith in ways that are meaningful, fun, and age-appropriate. Each week, your child will experience biblically grounded, Christ-centered lessons that help them discover who God is and how His love is part of their everyday lives. Our hope is that what they learn on Sunday becomes something your family can continue talking about and practicing at home.
Children meet in their age-specific classrooms and participate in activities and lessons designed especially for their developmental stage.
Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
Our Kindergarten–3rd grade experience begins with a “soft start,” giving kids time to connect with friends while playing a game, working on a puzzle, coloring, or enjoying another fun activity.
The group then gathers in our Large Worship Room (lower level) for an interactive Bible experience. Each week, a professional storyteller brings the Bible story to life in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate way, accompanied by exciting visuals. Children also have the opportunity to worship together through music, singing, and movement.
For the final 20 minutes, students return to their classrooms where they talk about what they learned, ask questions, and explore how they can put their faith into action in their everyday lives.
Our 4th & 5th grade class is led by a dedicated adult volunteer with more than 20 years of experience teaching this age group within our congregation. At this stage, children are ready to go a little deeper in their faith. Through fun, creative, and age-appropriate lessons, they explore the meaning behind important elements of worship, including prayer, baptism, and communion. This class encourages kids to ask questions, grow in their understanding of their faith, and build a strong foundation as they prepare for Confirmation.
